Why I Add MaxWell Pet’s Skin & Allergy Support To Rosie’s Food

Stephs Cheers and Jeers was provided the samples mentioned in this post in return for an unbiased review.

Poor Miss Rosie has had skin issues since we rescued her and after countless diet changes we decided to switch her to a raw diet, she improved A LOT but she still had some issues which the vet said could be seasonal allergies and the vet suggested adding a skin support supplement and that is when I came across MaxWell Pet by Dr.Garber.

Dr. Stuart H. Garber, D.C., Ph.D. has been practicing holistic medicine since 1981, in 1997 he became the first person in the United States to receive a Ph.D. degree in homeopathy. He has lectured countless medical, dental, chiropractic, acupuncture and veterinary groups in the United States, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean and he is also the creator of Dr. Garber’s Natural Solutions and MaxWell Pet products.

There are currently three items to choose from in the MaxWell Pet line, the first being Hip & Joint which promotes healthy joints, Calm & Happy which help soothe anxious pets and Skin & Allergy which helps soothe irritated skin.

The Skin & Allergy Formula contains a blend of  Black Currant (Ribes nigrum) buds; English Elm (Ulmus campestris) buds; European Walnut (Juglans regia) buds; Rye Grain (Secale cereale) rootlets; Conglomerate; Galena; Dermal extract; Pineal gland extract, Glycerin, Purified Water and 15% Ethanol USP. It has a shelf life of 5 years and does not require any refrigeration, the bottle also contains a dropper which allows you to easily administer the correct amount.

Since starting Rosie on the Skin & Allergy Support she looks amazing! She is no longer itching and her skin has healed very nicely. The vet suggested I keep her on this formula since its designed to maintain a normal inflammatory response.

Skin & Allergy is $29.99 a month auto-shipped unless canceled.

  • Hi. I just started my dog on this formula and her skin issues are severe. Her skin is raw from itching so much, crusty and she smells horrible. Our vet has said she can no longer help our dog so we turned to natural ways. I am doing other homeopathy remedies too. They just don’t seem to be helping. How long did it take for your dogs skin to heal? I have also started her on a raw diet. Thanks for any insight you can offer.

    • Hello Noreen,
I noticed a change in about 2 weeks. Keep in mind your pet might also have a secondary skin infection which might need to be treated first. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me again. I am STILL dealing with skin issues with my Westie.
