My husband is Scottish and his Scottish heritage is a large part of our lives.  He owns a kilt in his tartan and both Scottish flags are hung in our living room, when I told my husband that Heritage of Scotland and I were parring up for a review, he was super excited!

Heritage of Scotland is a one stop shop for everything Scottish, they literally sell everything you could think of including kilts, dresses, home decor, jewelry and even food!

I received two items from Heritage of Scotland, the first item was their Sporran Suspenders in Celtic Link design made from black leather. For those that don’t know Sporran Suspenders loop through the belt loops on a kilt and are used to clip your Sporran in place. They are a great alternative to a traditional sporran chain and of course they are made in Scotland.

For those that don’t know, A Sporran is a small pouch worn around the waist and it hangs on the front of a kilt. It serves the purpose of a pocket as kilts do not have pockets. They can be made from leather, fur and more.

DSCF0833The Sporran Suspenders are currently out of stock but sell for $18.46 or 240 airgid.

The second item I received is their Clan Crested Chrome Finish Pendant.

I of course chose my husbands clan which is Erskine. I am a little sad though because not even a year later the necklace started to change color and is now a coppery color in spots.

The necklace comes in numerous clans and Scots Thistle,Saltire,Rampant Lion,Ireland,Piper and Shamrock and Shamrock Enamel.

The necklace is Made in Scotland and sells for $38.47 or 500 airgid.

Review:

My husband really loved his Sporran Suspenders, they are a great modern twist on the sporran chain. I was really sad that my necklace changed color, I don’t often wear perfume and take it off every time I shower and there is not a clear description of what type of metal it is so I am worried about using any sort of cleaner on it.

However even though my necklace changed color I will buy from Heritage of Scotland again in the future, They just have such a selection that no one other offers!
