Holiday Gift Guide: Khortytsa Vodka

Stephs Cheers and Jeers was provided the samples mentioned in this post in return for an unbiased review.

Khortytsa (Hor-Ti-Tsa) Vodka (or KHOR for short) is the world’s third-largest selling vodka, their distillery is located near Khortytsa Island which is known as the “heart of Ukraine.” which is considered a sacred place and one of the country’s seven wonders. Their distillery was built in 2003 and uses an organic filter containing schungite (a unique natural mineral), their filtration process is also enhanced with special birch and alder-tree charcoal and quartz sand sourced near the famous Ural Mountains.

I have found this vodka is one of the smoothest I’ve ever tasted. I am sure this is due to their filtration process.

There are currently four items by Khortytsa that are imported into the United States, the first product is Khortytsa Platinum which is the most popular in their line and sells for $13.99 per 750 ML, Khortytsa Ice which is super neat! The bottle changes color once its chilled and also sells for $13.99 per 750 ML. One of their products that really caught my eye was the Honey Pepper Flavored Vodka, it also sells for $13.99 per 750 ML and is great for Bloody Marys. Lastly, they offer a super premium Vodka called  Khortytsa De Luxe which sells for $25.99 per 750 ML.

I was very impressed with KHOR, it’s very smooth and super flavorful and the Honey Pepper was surprisingly tasty(I expected it to be super hot but it’s not). However, the Platinum product was my favorite and I will definitely be on the hunt for this product as I really enjoyed it.
