Who doesn’t love jerky?

Jerky’s Gourmet of San Diego sells a high-quality grass fed beef jerky made from solid strips of steak, the beef is sourced from cows that live well on a GMO-free, grass fed and grass finished diet. Their beef jerky is the perfect low fat, high in protein snack and best of all! It comes in a resealable package! Their jerky is also gluten free and low in sodium and sugar.

They have some fantastic flavors of jerky to offer such as Black Pepper, Barbecue Mesquite, The Naked Original(a Paleo Friendly jerky that is made using a soy alternative and raw honey), Orange Teriyaki, Craft Beer, Ballast Point Habanero Sculpin, Chipotle Tequila and Ghost Pepper(which is also soy free).

I had the opportunity to try BBQ Mesquite,Black Pepper and Orange Teriyaki.

The BBQ Mesquite is a perfect blend of smoky and tangy and is made using Jerky’s Gourmet’s unique blend of spices.

Black Pepper is is covered with large cracked peppercorns and provides an AWESOME kick!

Orange Teriyaki is a perfect blend of citrus and spices.

These three jerky’s as well as the Craft Beer and Chipotle Tequila sell for $8.99 a bag while The Naked Original sells for $9.99. Ballast Point Habanero Sculpin sells for $9.49 a bag and the Ghost Pepper sells for $9.49 a bag.

Review:

I am a bit of a meat snob so my expectations were set very high, and boy did Jerky’s Gourmet of San Diego deliver! The meat was very flavorful and tender while the seasonings were well balanced. I really liked the Orange Teriyaki, it had a very authentic orange flavor and was very balanced yet enjoyable. This has to be one of the best jerky’s I have ever had!
