The Glass is heavy duty and simply BEAUTIFUL! It has a beautiful design on the lid and I found the cup easy to use and that it keeps your tea both hot/cold depending on what tempature of the item is you put in it(Example, if I put hot tea it keeps it warm, if I put iced tea it keeps it cold).
