I have always been fascinated by the moon cycles. I have always thought the moon was gorgeous so when I came across a company that makes jewelry with pictures of the moon, I flipped! I was just so excited!
Moonglow Jewelry is a hand-crafted specialty line that has a unique concept. Each piece of jewelry is crafted with a framed image of that moon phase! Each pendant, necklace or bracelet can hold a special meaning to the wearer whether it be a birthday, anniversary, engagement, wedding, etc. You just provide Moonglow with the date and they calculate the phase of the moon from that day.
I ended up choosing their MOONGLOW CLASSIC NECKLACE W/BLACK SWAROVSKI and my Birthday(February 8th, 1992) as the date.
Their website told me the moon phase that day was 1 quarter waxing moon and looked like

The Necklace is made of pewter and featuring a black Swarovski crystal at the bottom.
The pendants measurements are
- Length : 0.60″/ 1.5 cm
- Height : 1.05″/ 2.7 cm
- Width : 0.11″/ 3 mm
- Weight : 0.10 oz/ 3 g
You can also choose from 4 different chain lengths, 16inch, 18inch, 25inch and 24inch.
You also get a card of authenticity and a card explaining your moon phase with your chosen date.

Review: 
The necklace is just BEAUTIFUL! The picture of the moon is clear and not distorted. The pendant is super light weight and small enough to not be bothersome but big enough for people to notice and make a statement. I love the vintage look the necklace has. I was sent the 16 inch chain and the only difference I would make is order a bigger chain because it fits like a choker.
