The Spice Lab is a woman owned business based in Florida. The company sells gourmet sea salts, spices and more. Their website includes multiply types of salts such as Himalayan, Smoked and more.
I was sent their Gourmet Sea Salt Sampler Collection No. 2 to review.
It contains Citron SilverFlake Finishing Sea Salt, Hickory Smoked Sea Salt, Hawaiian Black Lava (Medium) Sea Salt and Himalayan Crystal Pink Fine Grain.
The sample I received came in Pyrex test tubes with all-natural cork stoppers. The tubes sit in a handmade wooden base made from reclaimed cedar. Each Test Tube contains between .7 to 1.3 Oz of salt depending on the density of the salt. Most Tubes have over 1 Oz of salt. The salts I received are NOT Kosher certified.
I was also sent the small wooden bamboo spoon to use with the samples which made it much easier to get the right amount of salt needed every time.

My FAVORITE was the smoked sea salt. It had a wonderful smokey flavor and went great with SO many dishes. I just LOVED the beautiful wooden base the test tubes sat in. Its heavy duty and makes it easy to store. All the salts I received were high quality and I plan to make a good sized order in the near future as I was very impressed!
The kit I received was valued at $29.95 and there are tons of different salts, spices and gifts you can buy on their website!
