The sharpener features an old school retro look and has quiet sharpening technology which prevents classroom interruptions. The sharpener also automatically stops once the pencil has the perfect tip to prevent over sharpening. They are easy to use even for young children, work on standard pencils and features a clear plastic disposal tray for easy cleaning. The sharpener features a sturdy metal frame (approximately 3″x 3″x 5″) and is portable or can be mounted(clamp included).

I use pencils often, I often have to reschedule appointments often so I like to use pencil when filling out my calendar and I have had trouble finding a pencil sharpener that doesn’t butcher pencils. I personally hate electric pencil sharpeners as I already use enough batteries in a month that I really can’t afford anymore! The sharpener from Classroom Friendly Supplies is heavy duty, didn’t butcher my pencils and was really easy to use! I actually have pain in my hands(my doctor thinks arthritis) and even I found the sharpener very easy to use.
