Vegan Taste Test with Miyoko’s Kitchen.

logo (2)A few months ago Miyoko’s Kitchen was kind enough to send me a bunch of their vegan cheese to review. I decided to host a vegan taste test with two experienced vegans who are close friends of mine. I am someone who is on the fence about vegan products and I had my mother try them as well, someone who has NEVER even heard of vegan cheese. This was seriously a BLAST!!!

Miyoko’s Kitchen is some of the best plant based cheese I have EVER had in my whole life. Their products were created Miyoko Schinner, she was on a mission to recreate the range of flavors and textures she had once enjoyed from dairy cheeses before becoming vegan. Every product is 100% vegan, gluten free and made with only organic ingredients.

Miyoko’s Kitchen has a HUGE range of Vegan cheeses! Their flavors include Classic Double Cream Chive, Double Cream Sundried Tomato Garlic, High Sierra Rustic Alpine, Fresh Loire Valley in a Fig Leaf, Mt. Vesuvius Black Ash, French Style Winter Truffle, Aged English Sharp Farmhouse, Aged English Smoked Farmhouse, Country Style Herbes de Provence, and Double Cream Garlic Herb. The products are made using Organic Cashews and other ingredients such as Filtered water, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Chives, Organic Chickpea Miso, Sea Salt, Nutritional Yeast, Cultures and more.

Review:

My personal favorite was the Double Cream Chive! I was blown away with how much these actually tasted like dairy cheese. Some of the cheeses are SUPER creamy and melt greatly unlike other vegan cheeses I have tried. All of the cheeses are super yummy.

Taste Test with Experienced Vegans:

I met with my friends Cori and Anne who both work at the Springfield Humane Society. They are both experienced vegans and I was really excited to sit down and have them try these cheeses. Both of them were very blown away at how tasty they were, both were a little skeptical at first because of past experiences with other vegan cheeses that often are tasteless, have weird textures or don’t melt but both Cori and Anne were very impressed with the taste of the cheeses and the textures. I sent them both home with samples and they both seemed to be really sold.

Miyoko’s Kitchen ships to all 50 states!
