Zim’s started over 60 years ago  creation of Zim’s Crack Creme® by a pharmacist in Austintown, Ohio. Today they offer over 25 products ranging from lotions and creams to pain relief gels and diabetic care items.

If you have been following me for awhile you might have read that I suffer from Chronic Pain. Some days my legs and knee just hurt SO bad and OTC oral pain medication does not help. So I was really excited to try their Maxi-Freeze.

I was sent some of their products to try:

DSCF2277I was sent their Zim’s Advanced Crack Creme with Hydrocortisone,Zim’s Advanced with Hydrocortisone,Zim’s Advanced Gel with Acemannan and Zim’s Max-Freeze for Feet Continuous Spray.

The Zim’s Advanced Crack Creme with Hydrocortisone is great for poison ivy,poison oak, sumac, bug bites and dermatitis. You can apply to the affected area no more then 2-3 times daily and if you are going to use on a child under 2 be sure to ask a doctor first.

Active Ingredients:

Hydrocortisone 1% (Purpose: Anti-Itch)

Inactive Ingredients:

Water, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, SD Alcohol 3-C, Propylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Isocetyl Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Pimenta Acris (Bay) Leaf Oil, Isostearyl Palmitate, Cetyl Palmitate, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Carbomer, Glyceryl Stearate, Ceteth-20, PEG-100 Stearate, Triethanolamine, Disodium EDTA, Methylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynl Butylcarbamate.

It sells for $9.99 a tube.

Zim’s Advanced with Hydrocortisone is specially formulated for use on dry, cracked skin, rashes, redness, and insect bites. You can apply to the affected area no more then 2-3 times daily and if you are going to use on a child under 2 be sure to ask a doctor first.

Active Ingredients:

Hyrocortisone 1% (Purpose: Anti-Itch)

Inactive Ingredients:

Water, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, SD Alcohol 3-C, Propylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Isocetyl Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Pimenta Acris (Bay) Leaf Oil, Isostearyl Palmitate, Cetyl Palmitate, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Carbomer, Glyceryl Stearate, Ceteth-20, PEG-100 Stearate, Triethanolamine, Disodium EDTA, Methylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate.

Zim’s Advanced Gel with Acemannan is  used as a protectant for minor cuts, scrapes, abrasions and burns. This product contains Acemannan, nature’s purest form of Aloe Vera. It can be used up to 2-3 times a day.

Do not use on: deep puncture wounds,serious burns,animal bites,consult a doctor for the treatment of diaper rash.

Active Ingredients:

Allantoin 0.55% (Purpose: Skin Protectant)

Inactive Ingredients:

Acemannan, Arnica, Carbomer, Methylparaben, Panthenol, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Trisapropylamine.

Zim’s Max-Freeze for Feet Continuous Spray provide temporary relief for minor aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with uncomfortable shoes,running, standing and walking, sore heels and ankle pain.

Active Ingredients:

Natural Menthol USP 3.7% (Purpose: Topical Analgesic)

Inactive Ingredients:

*Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, *Arnica Montana Extract, Camphor, Carbomer, Ethylhexylglycerin, *Ilex Paraguariensis Leaf Extract, Isopropyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Tea Tree Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate), Water.

* Asterisk before an ingredient indicates certified organic.

Review:

I was overall very impressed with all of the Zim’s products I received. I really loved the Maxi-Freeze it worked fantastic on my sore feet and left them feeling relaxed and really deep penetrated. I feel like I can trust using Zim’s on my family because they are upfront about the ingredients in their products and actually use certified organic ingredients in their products. I will definitely be turning to them for my first aid and pain relief needs.
