Holiday Gift Guide:Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer Review

With Cold and Flu season closing down on us fast, the Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer is the PERFECT gift for anyone but especially parents with small children!

The Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer is seriously SO easy to use! Taking a temperature has never been so easy! You just press the large button, lightly scan across the forehead, a red LED light and soft beep indicate a correct scan.

Nearly two billion temperatures are taken each year with the TemporalScanner. It is used in thousands of hospitals, clinics and pediatricians’ offices across the country, as well as in millions of homes. In addition to being the #1 preference of pediatricians in the United States, it is the #1 preference of nurses, and the #1 selling retail thermometer.

The TemporalScanner Thermometer is tested six times for accuracy during manufacture at Exergen’s plant in Watertown, Massachusetts and comes with a one-year warranty. It runs on one 9-volt battery (included), and meets and exceeds all regulatory requirements, including FDA, ASTM, EC, and UL.

I absolutely LOVE the Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer! I love the many features it has like the temperature memory and silent mode. The silent mode is PERFECT For parents!  It literately takes SECONDS to get a temperature and has to be the easiest thermometer I have ever used. I have done some research and it seems temperatures taking via the temporal artery is more accurate then temperatures taking via the ear. I tested it by taking my temperature a few times in a row and got the same results. This is simply an amazing thermometer and every households should own one!

This makes a FANTASTIC gift and is perfect as stocking stuffer!

The Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer is sold in major retailers including Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Costco, Babies “R” Us, Toys “R” Us, Kroger and BJ’s, and the suggested retail price is $49.99.
