Hormel is a brand that my family purchases often and I almost ALWAYS pick up one of their party trays if I am throwing a party simply because everyone loves them. I recently picked up a few of the HORMEL GATHERINGS Party Trays for a get together I had and I was super eager to see what everyone thought.
Hunting down the trays actually turned into a bit of an adventure, I used the store locator on their website and headed off to the first store…Walmart Supercenter in Claremont, NH was out of stock so I headed over to Hannafords in the same town…also out of stock. I thought at first I was not going to be able to find them until a friend of mine mentioned I should check Hannafords in West Lebanon, NH. I luckily was able to hunt them down in the cheese section!
HORMEL GATHERINGS Party Trays come in two flavors, the first is Hard Salami & Pepperoni Party Tray which features HORMEL® Hard Salami, HORMEL® Pepperoni, Sargento® Cheddar Cheese, Sargento® Colby Jack Cheese, Round Crackers. The second is Honey Ham & Turkey Party Tray which features HORMEL® Honey Ham, HORMEL® Smoked Turkey, Sargento® Cheddar Cheese, Sargento® Colby Jack Cheese, Round Crackers. Hormel also offers a Supreme Party Tray as well as Snack Trays which are perfect for smaller crowds.
The store I visited only had the 28 oz Hard Salami & Pepperoni Party Tray and 14 oz Turkey & Cheese Snack Trays.
All of the items come packaged separately but the tray has designated spots for all the items.
The Hard Salami & Pepperoni Party Tray was a huge hit! Everyone thought the items were super tasty and I liked that it offered two types of meat and two types of cheese. I also felt the trays had a decent portion of items and I think they are great for the price!
These items seem to be SUPER popular as I had to visit three different stores and the first two stores were completely out of stock. After tasting them I can see why they are so popular as they are tasty, filling and a great way to have a stress free party!
