Leafware is a unique disposable dinnerware, a line of dinner plates, servingware and flatware that is 100 percent biodegradable and compostable, All Leafware products begin as natural leaf litter that falls from trees. The leaves are collected, dried and then disinfected. After using them to serve a meal, you can compost them in your backyard or drop them off at most composting facilities to return them to the earth and let the cycle of growth continue. The silverware is constructed out of birch wood and is free of glues and dyes. It is currently available on the Paperless Kitchen website.

I was sent a sample pack to review and I was super impressed.

Review:

I was super impressed with the review kit I received. I was shocked at how durable and strong the plates and silverware is, liquid didn’t seep through at all and it all lived up way past my expectations. I think these plates add a super elegant factor to any dish and are also green which is GREAT! At first I was super worried it wouldn’t hold up being what it was made up but it totally lived up to what I expect from a disposable dinnerware.

I actually really hope to use leafware at my wedding!
