Did you know April 19th is National Garlic Day? In honor of National Garlic Day and the fact that I LOVE garlic, I have created a super easy and tasty recipe using Gaea’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil With a Dash Of Garlic.
Gaea’s product line features tasty ingredients that are vital to traditional Greek cuisines such as olive oils, olives, condiments and more. All of their ingredients are naturally grown in the fertile earth of Greece, sun-ripened and harvested the traditional way, this made me SO excited because I am Greek and LOVE traditional Greek products and cuisine!
I whipped up a quick lunch with their Gaea’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil With a Dash Of Garlic and it was SO tasty!
Gaea’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil With a Dash Of Garlic is Olive Oil made from hand-picked olives that is then infused with garlic, unlike other garlic olive oils I have used in the past this particular brand does not contain chunks of garlic which I REALLY like. It has a nice garlic flavor that isn’t overpowering but satfisied the garlic fanatic in me. My favorite thing about Gaea’s Olive Oil is the fact the bottle comes with a plastic retractable spout which sets them apart from other brands because I have been buying olive oil for YEARS and never seen this before!
Here is a recipe for the quick lunch idea I whipped up!
Ingredients
- 2 cups of frozen precooked shrimp-tails removed
- 1 box of Wagon Wheel Pasta
- 2 tablespoons of Gaea Extra Virgin Olive Oil With A Dash Of Garlic
- 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Juice of 1 Lemon
Instructions
- Defrost Shrimp and remove tails, sprinkle with Italian Seasoning then combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, butter and Parmesan cheese in pan, brown butter/garlic/Parmesan mixture, turn off heat and add Shrimp and return to heat on low until warmed.
- While the butter mixture is cooking, bring water to boil and cook Wagon Wheel pasta, drain pasta and sprinkle with extra olive oil(I use approximately 2 tablespoons) then combine pasta and shrimp mixture.
