Potlicker Kitchen Review

Stephs Cheers and Jeers was provided the samples mentioned in this post in return for an unbiased review.

Potlicker Kitchen  sent me three jars of their wonderful products to review.

Potlicker Kitchen is out of Bethel VT ran by Nancy Warner, they sell a wide variety of jams and jellies.
I was sent Carrot Cake Jam, Pale Ale Beer Jelly and Burgundy Anise Wine Jelly.

I received the package and the first thing I noticed was the wonderful packaging material. Nancy ships using wood curls, that are natural and biodegradable. Even the wood curls are vermont made, harvested from Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.

Burgundy Anise Wine Jelly:
The Burgundy Anise Wine Jelly contains burgundy wine, sugar, pectin, star anise, orange peel and salt.
I think this product would go very well with ribs, it is to strong to eat out of the jar, but I think the strong wine taste would subside if cooked down with food.
India Pale Ale Beer Jelly:
The India Pale Ale Beer Jelly contains Vermont Beer, Sugar and Pectin.
I think this product would make a wonderful glaze for chicken*Keep an eye out for future recipes*
This product too is a little strong to eat right out of the jar.
Carrot Cake Jam:
Carrot Cake Jam contains carrots, pineapple, pears, sugar, coconut, raisins, lemon, vanilla and spices.

The Carrot Cake Jam would go wonderful on toast! It was a wonderful taste of spices and is one of the only three that I think you could eat out of the jar!

*Products Above are all made in a facility that processes Nuts and Wheat!!!!!!*

you can purchase any of the above items on their official website.
