Rosie’s Pet Intolerance Test Results from Affordable Testing

Stephs Cheers and Jeers was provided the samples mentioned in this post in return for an unbiased review.

When we rescued Little Miss Rosie we were told that she had allergies but that she had never had any sort of allergy testing done so they were not 100% sure what she was actually allergic or sensitive to. They had done a short food elimination and found that she did better on a grain free food but that was all the information they could provide us. I had a suspicion that Rosie had enviormental allergies and I had heard about allergy testing over the internet from a friend. While I was doing some research I came across Affordable Testing and decided to give it a try.

Affordable Testing offers some wonderful options that allow you to test for allergies and sensitive to items such as beauty products, they also offer a standard test which tests for over 300 food and enviormental l intolerances as well as 45 nutritional deficiencies. They also offer a metal test that tests for heavy metals so you can develop a plan or routine to reduce your exposure to these metals. I was really happy to see that while they offer tons of tests for humans they also offer an intolerance test for pets.

The test utilizes the cells found in pet hair to test for 300 common food and environmental intolerances, the pain-free collection process is SUPER easy, you just have to clip a few pieces of your pet’s hair close to the root and mail it in using the provided envelope and you will be emailed your results within 1-2 weeks.

Rosie’s test results were emailed to me in about a week after I sent in her sample in an easy to understand PDF file.

Her environmental allergy test results are below.

I am overall very happy with the results and how fast it took to get the results, I feel like the report is really easy to understand and while it is only meant to be used as informational and not as an actual medical documentation it gave me some suggestion on what foods to eliminate to try and help combat her skin problems.

You can purchase the Intolerance Test For Pets for $144.00.
