Tuscanini Foods Pasta Review

Stephs Cheers and Jeers was provided the samples mentioned in this post in return for an unbiased review.

Tuscanini Foods recently launched a line of pasta to join their line of gourmet food products including naturally sparkling cold pressed beverages, tomato products, and vinegar. This line of products is distributed by Kayco and are produced with natural ingredients, nothing artificial and are certified OU kosher.

This line of 100% Durum Semolina pasta is bronze cut to create a porous surface which holds the sauce. The line features a variety of shapes including Gigli (ruffle-edged cones), Pennoni (a somewhat more substantial version of Penne), Trottole (“spinning top”), tricolor Conchiglie (seashells), and tricolor Fusilli (corkscrews).

These products are coming to store shelves in 2019 and sell for $3.99 each.

Thoughts:

I think these pastas are super tasty. It is getting warmer here in Vermont so I decided to make pasta salad with these. I never really stick to a particular recipe for pasta salad and throw in different types of cheeses, veggies and use a container of wishbone dressing.
