Two Guys in Vermont

Two Guys in Vermont were very kind and sent me along a package of their Vermont Made Soups!
Two Guys in Vermont is a Vermont based company that uses all natural ingredients and are packaged in Glass Jars(The company started after Jeff, one of the founders of Two Guys in Vermont was alarmed to find out most soups in the grocery store soup aisle contain BPA) The buy products STRICTLY from Regional farms and do not support GMO’s. Their soups are also Gluten Free!

I was sent one of each of their flavors, Today I am going to focus on the Hearty Curried Apple Butternut Squash soup.(Be on the look on, in a week or so, I am going to use the Veggie Basil Goodness and Chunky Tomato in a recipe!!)

The Hearty Curried Apple Butternut Squash soup is NOT your regular Butternut Squash soup! It has a Kick to it and a wonderful texture, Its not creamy and the spice of the curry really can sneak up on you! As soon as I opened the jar and poured it into the pan to heat it up, It filled my nose with a wonderful smell of apples and butternut squash! I even rinsed out the jar and decided to save it for later, I am always looking for ways to re purpose items and I am sure I can work these into a project.
In the end I really enjoyed the soup but the Curry was a little overwhelming, I hope down the road they will consider making one without the curry for those of us who aren’t very adventurous! This soup surely is a unique one!
