Zippo has been a brand my family has been using for years! I have also gifted a few Zippo lighters to my husband as gifts and have always been super impressed! The story of Zippo all began in the 1930’s with founder George G. Blaisdell, millions of American military personnel carried Zippo lighters into battle and was a major factor in Zippo becoming established as an American Icon. Did you know that Zippo has a lifetime guarantee? They will fix lighters regardless of the lighters condition and age. In over 80 years no one has ever paid for a repair of a Zippo and I have even seen stories of Zippos from the war being fully restored by Zippo at no charge.

Zippo sells lighters in a huge variety of themes including military, bands, Harley Davidson and so much more. They also have lines of utility lighters, candle lighters, hand warmers and more. They also allow you to fully customize Zippos which make fantastic gifts! Zippo was kind enough to send me along one of their candle lighters to review.

The Zippo Candle Lighters come in Candy Apple Red,  Harvest Bronze, Brushed Chrome and Champagne. They are  6 ½” from top to bottom and feature adjustable flame dial and a patented child-resistant safety button, The lighter takes butane and it is suggested that for optimal performance it’s a good idea to use Zippo branded butane. The Zippo Candle Lighter comes with a three-year warranty and you can purchase them for $14.95

Review:

It took me a few days to find a place near me that had butane, for some strange reason many stores near me did not sell it and I was lucky that my local Riteaid had it. The lighter was easy to fill and due to its size, there is no risk of burning yourself when lighting candles, however, I found the lighter REALLY hard to light, due to my chronic pain I do have really weak hands but even my husband found the lighter hard to light. The button is easy to press in but the actually piece that you slide to ignite the lighter is a little hard to move. The candle lighter really is a great product but might be hard for folks with weak hands or arthritis to light.
