Since my chronic pain has gotten worse I have taken up more DIY crafts, I recently started crocheting and I love it so I wanted to explore more options. I came across The Creative’s Container and I love that they send a new DIY project each month with all the supplies needed to make that months project.
You can subscribe to The Creative’s Container for $24.99 a month, $69.99 for three months and $124.99 for six months. I think the price is great especially since I don’t have really any craft stores nearby so I have to order online or drive a far distance.
The kit I received featured the supplies to make choker necklaces and featured the following supplies:
- 1 package of gold beads
- 1 suede cord
- 1 strip of lace
- 4 clamp closures
- 3 large jump rings
- 2 small jump rings
- 2 lobster claws
- 1 pendant
I found the directions to be SUPER easy to follow and I didn’t need any extra supplies or tools to make the necklaces(I was able to open the jump rings with my fingers).
I LOVE the first necklace! I cut the suede cord slightly(in the directions it doesn’t state to cut the cord) because I wanted it to hang different but I love how it came out.
The lace choker was not really my style, but it was SUPER easy to put together, all I had to do was add clamp closures and jump rings.
The necklace with the pendant was super cute. I really like it and I think it will pair well with my steampunk outfit for the Springfield Vermont Steampunk Festival.
I loved The Creative’s Container I received, it was super easy to make all three chokers and the directions were super easy to follow. It would make a great gift for the DIYer in your life or someone who is looking to explore new crafts.
Very cute. I think that creative hobbies are very important. The are a great way to take a break from the everyday stuff as well as make yourself or someone else something pretty.
