I originally came across JEKCA after pictures of some of their cat sculptures ended up on Facebook, I was instantly intrigued because my husband and I love building stuff. Little did I know it would be a very interesting experience.
JEKCA is a Hong-Kong-based company that offers unique sculptures that use interlocking building blocks that create fun sculptures including cats, dogs, and even food. I decided to try one of the cat sculptors and I was in way over my head after it arrived.
I received the 13S-M01 Cat model and as soon as I opened the box I was instantly terrified by how many pieces there were.
My husband and I decided it would be much easier if we sorted the pieces and I used meal prep containers to keep all the pieces organized and separate.
making progress!
After many fights, alcohol and even the sculpture going across the living room, we were able to get the sculpture put together after a long weekend. The directions are a little difficult to understand and we actually messed up a few times and had to start over. This sculpture was VERY time-consuming because of the interlocking design and the little pins you have to screw in.
I love the final product and I would definitely purchase another sculptor from JEKCA.
The sculptors range in price and this particular one sells for $76.80.
