I love my DSLR but I hate lugging it around everywhere so I have been on the hunt for a point and shoot that is compact, versatile and affordable. I came across the Kodak PixPro Friendly Zoom cameras and that is when I saw the PixPro Fz53 and knew it was exactly what I needed!
The Kodak PixPro FZ53 camera is a fantastic step up model that features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, HD video, 28mm wide-angle lens and tons of features and shooting modes. I love the slim fit design because I can easily fit it into my purse or pocket!
I was pretty impressed with some of the features this little 16megapixal camera has to offer like 5x zoom and the 28mm wide angle lens. The one-touch 720p HD Video option is great and allows me to take video fast, the one-touch video option really was a selling point for me.
This camera features a great selection of shooting modes including manual, auto, anti-shake, portrait, and panorama. It also has a large selection of scenes to choose from including auto, landscape, sport, beach, sunset, fireworks, night landscape, snow, children, ID, glass, photo frame, panning, text, fisheye, party, indoor, leaf, museum, night portrait, and sketch.
This camera is also equipped with face, smile and blink detection as well as macro, a timer, flash, fill flash, slow sync, slow sync plus red-eye and red-eye reduction.

I love this little camera!! Below are some examples of pictures I took.
The Kodak FZ53 camera sells for $76.99 and I think that its a STEAL for the price. It has so many options and the compact design allows me to easily carry it with me. I really love the frame option which makes it fun for parties! I am very impressed and highly suggest this camera.
