Revell is a brand my family has been using for YEARS! My mom spent many years building models as a hobby and Revell was always a brand she loves and trusted. I recently noticed that they have a line of models that use glueless, prepainted kits that snap together and I was really intrigued by the design so I thought to give a few of the kits a try.
I decided on the Snaptite Build and Play Scooby Doo Bi-Plane Model Kit, as well as three Star Wars themed Kits.
The Snaptite Build and Play Scooby Doo Bi-Plane Model Kit features 44 easy snaptite pieces, the snaptite pieces are designed to securely snap together so tools or glue is not required. The kit also features Scooby-doo, Shaggy, and Velma, the plane also features a spinning propeller and functioning landing gear.
You can purchase the Snaptite Build and Play Scooby Doo Bi-Plane Model Kit currently on Amazon for $19.39.
I was SUPER excited about the Star Wars Kits, I decided on a First Order Heavy Assault AT-M6 Walker, Kylo Ren’s TIE Fighter, and a Resistance A-wing Fighter.
The Walker is 46 pieces and features a light-up Cannon Blaster, battle action sounds, and fully positionable head, feet, and legs.
You can purchase the First Order Heavy Assault AT-M6 Walker on Amazon currently for $19.99.
The Kylo Ren’s TIE Fighter is 20 pieces and features a light-up engine and battle sounds. I think it’s super sleek looking and it’s actually my favorite out of the kit.
You can purchase the Kylo Ren TIE Fighter on Amazon currently for $19.99.
The Resistance A-wing Fighter is 25 pieces and includes a battle-ready Pilot, light up engine and battle sounds. I currently have been unable to find it for sale online but if that changes I will add the link.
I loved trying the Snaptite because they are all prepainted and don’t require glue or tools. Even though they are designed for 8+ I had a lot of fun putting them together and would definitely purchase more of the Snaptite kits.
