I recently had the chance to taste test Jellybean Vineyards Wines, I don’t typically drink wine often but I was really impressed with the fact that their wines are tasty yet affordable.
Jellybean Vineyards Wines is part of the Mendocino Wine Company which is family owned and operated by the Thornhill family. Jellybean Vineyards Wines are a line of super colorful and sweet wines which include Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Wine Blend, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Moscato and Moscato Rose.
I had a chance to taste test Cabernet Sauvignon, Moscato, Moscato Rose and Pinot Grigio.
The Cabernet Sauvignon features rich flavors that include blackberry jam, boysenberry, and hints of cherry licorice. It also features notes of cedar, clove, and tobacco because it is aged in French oak for 16 months.
The Moscato features floral notes and vibrant fruit flavors including peach, apricot, and rose petal. It’s super tasty and this was one of my favorites!
The Moscato Rose was my favorite! It features notes of strawberry, raspberry, peach, apricot and is made with a blend of Moscato and Raboso grapes from Spain. The pink color is super fun and the fruity flavors are tasty and refreshing.
The Pinot Grigio features flavors and aromas of white peach, nectarine, green apple and key lime. I brought a bottle of this to a house party and it was a HUGE hit! Everyone loved how tasty and smooth it was.
Jellybean Vineyards Wines sell for $9.99 a bottle and you can use their store locator to find where to purchase it near you.
