Barbara’s Cookie Pies Review and Giveaway

Barbara’s Hand-Made Cookie Pies are exactly what they sound like! Its a yummy fusion of a cookie and a pie all in one! Barbara used her Mom’s and Nana’s cookie dough recipe and has brought it to a whole new level! Barbara realized her Mom’s and Nana’s special little secrets for preparing dough and crafting butter cookies created a unique flavor and texture that still has not been duplicated commercially.Each Pie is hand-made at a licensed commercial bakery in New Jersey. The cookie pies start with that family butter dough recipe and then is topped with quality ingredients such as cookie pieces, peanut butter, marshmallow, and more. Each Cookie pie is  7 inches in diameter and weigh between 16-20 oz. on average. They contain no added preservatives and should be eaten as soon as possible upon receipt for optimal freshness. While it varies by item, in general they can be stored at room temperature for 7-10 days or refrigerated for 2-4 weeks. If not eaten right away, they should be stored in a freezer (up to 6 months) and then defrosted for 2 hours before serving.

Review:

First off, I just want to say that Barbara is a very kind person, we corresponded through emails for a few days and she was super pleasant, customer service is a big thing for me and she gets an A+ in customer service.

 The cookie pie arrived in perfect conditional adorably wrapped. It was completely sealed tightly which I think prevented it from being damaged during shipping. The crust is AMAZING! Seriously like melt in your mouth! The cream tastes just like the inside of an Oreo and the cookies are crunchy which I was worried at first they would of been soggy. All Around the cookie pie tasted awesome and we got six slices out of it and they are SUPER rich so I suggest small portions!
