I love cooking, so I am always looking for ways to spice up my cooking. I love oils and often infuse my own olive oil at home, but sometimes its just a hassle and it takes time. That’s where Benissimo Oils come into play! Benissimo Oils is made by Hongar Farms.
I was sent a bottle of their Mediterranean garlic oil to review!
The oil contains canola/extra virgin olive oil,thyme, minced garlic, oregano, basil and natural flavor.
Its all natural and contains 800mg of omega-3 per serving!
I have been using the oil on everything from salad to when I cook potatoes!
Here is a recipe I copied off their website.
Mediterranean Classic Chicken
4-6 chicken breast halves
Or 4-6 Skinless boneless chicken breast halves
¼ cup honey
Place chicken breast in a shallow baking dish. Pour Benissimo Mediterranean Garlic Oil over chicken and marinate 2 hours, turning after 1 hour. Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees. Bake chicken breast at 350 for 50 minutes (or skinless, boneless chicken breast for 20 minutes) or until almost cooked through. Drizzle chicken with honey, finish cooking for 5 minutes (or until completely cooked) and serve.
Serves 4-6.
The oil is extremely flavorful and is a wonderful blend of different Mediterranean spices.
As someone who uses different oils often, I was impressed with the quality.
