* Due to pending legal action Besh Box is currently not selling boxes an internal disagreement has currently caused the company to stop production, no word on if it will pick up again*
Besh has issued the following statement via an official spokesperson:
“We’ve made the difficult decision to shut down Besh Box operations as our partner, Box Car Sally, has an internal dispute that has rendered operations impossible. It’s greatly disappointing to me, but I have committed to personally refund anyone who has paid for and not received Besh Boxes. Our customers have and always will come first.” – John Besh
Being a foodie, I was SO excited to review the Besh Box!
Besh Box was a creation of Chef John Besh and Octavio Mantilla.
Besh Box was a monthly subscription box that contained goodies like recipes, tools and more! When the box came I was TOTALLY excited to rip it open. I love anything that has to do with baking and cooking. When the box arrived I was thrilled to see that it was good sized. I have received similar boxes in the mail and they almost always contain sample size items. Besh Box did NOT it was loaded with full sized items and tools!
I LOVED the tissue paper that came in the box!
The box was seriously loaded!
It came with a high quality chefs towel, organic jalapeno seeds,A huge bag of Inglewood pecans. ,dough scraper, pastry cutter, two vanilla beans in a glass vile, and a Fleur De Les ornament.
It also came with recipe cards, one of the recipes was for Apple & Pear Tart.
The box use to sell for $55 for 1 month, and if you have purchased any make sure you email teambesh@chefjohnbesh.com if you havent received a refund yet.
I honestly thought even though the box was on the pricey side that it was AMAZING! I adored every thing I received and months later I still have pecans left. I am incredibly sad to hear that they have stopped selling boxes completely. Maybe in the future Chef Besh will do something similar! This would of been the perfect gift for foodies!
