Did you know In India, the word boxwalla means ‘Box-seller’, ‘box person’ or ‘traveling merchant’ and that ‘Walla Walla’ is the Native American name for a ‘place of many waters’, Well Boxwalla allows you to experience new things in the comfort of your own home! They offer fun boxes packed full of goodies to your doorstep. They have a Beauty Box that delivers effective but non toxic beauty items. The Food Box delivers some of the best products the U.S has to offer! These food items might include jams, honeys, coffees and more. The Book Box delivers some of the very best literature and the Film Box delivers some awesome films from the very best filmmakers.
I received their Food Box to review.
One of the first things that caught my eye about my Boxwalla was the box! It was SUPER sturdy unlike many other boxes that subscription boxes come in. Each box as WELL as the information inserts are crafted from tree-free handmade paper. The paper is made by a company in Rajasthan, India and it is made from cotton scrapes. The process involves 9 steps and takes several weeks the whole process is completely child labor free and employs 63 local villagers and 20 skilled artisans whose families have been making paper for generations.
The box I received contained
- Inna James Fig Jam which is a 2015 Good Foods Award Winner.
- Oregon Truffle Oil’s White Truffle Oil which is infused with truffles harvested in the Willamette Valley.
- Blackbird Salty Sweet Granola which pairs maple syrup and the savoriness of Jacoben Kosher Salt.
- Chocxo Guantupi Single Origin Chooclate which is award winning!
- Chocxo Organic Dark + Espresso Chocolate Bar.
