My living room is really dark because there are no actual lights in that room which I think is such a poor idea. I have been using lamps since we moved in but it still isn’t as bright as I would like. I rent and my landlord will not agree to bring in an electrician so I decided to do some research and see what type of lightbulbs I could use to get a nice bright ambiance in that room and that is when I came across the SceneSwitch Light Bulb by Philips.
Philips is a brand I already trust and use often, I almost always buy their light bulbs(unless I cant find them) because I think they are high quality and last awhile. I was really excited to switch out my regular light bulbs for the SceneSwitch Light Bulb because you can easily switch between three different light settings without having to change out the bulb or additional installation. The bulb also has a built-in memory chip that memorizes your last setting if you turn off the lamp for more than 5 seconds. It is also energy efficient which means you can instantly save up to 80% in energy by replacing your existing incandescent or halogen bulbs.
The SceneSwitch Light Bulb has a lifetime of up to 15,000 hours which I think is awesome because that means I don’t have to change the bulb as often which is something I hate doing(yay for being short).
You can purchase the SceneSwitch bulb at Amazon, Home Depot, and other retailers.
