Stephs Cheers and Jeers was provided with the samples mentioned in this post in return for an unbiased review.
Butler Motorcycle Maps is a company out of Eagle, Colorado, Justin Bradshaw was very kind to send me two maps to review! They didn’t have my state currently so I chose the above to review!
Their maps are waterproof and tear-resistant( I didn’t test these myself, but by the texture of the maps, I wouldn’t doubt it). You don’t have to worry about space because they are the perfect size to fit in a tour pack or a saddlebag of a motorcycle, or even in a backpack!
They open up very large though, so I suggest that if you are going to use them while riding, make sure you can open them up on something flat(Even the ground would work) so you can fully read them.
The maps have a lot of good information on the reverse side as well!
The inside includes:
- A Dirt Road Guild(I like to avoid Dirt Roads)
- Smartphone QR Codes, which if scanned will direct you to Local Motorcycle shops and ect
- Symbol Guild which shows the types of streets(one way, Wildlife Warnings) and even the type of terrain and surroundings (such as Desert, Mountainous, Forest)
- Information about the state including Capital, State flower, population and ect
- Description of Highway and roads
- Directory of State parks
Here is a quick video of the maps
These maps are $14.95 each and in my opinion, they are 100% worth it!
They are heavy-duty and will last a long time!
2022 Update: I no longer ride but I still stand behind this company, I think their products are wonderful and I hope to ride again soon! Since working with them, they have added several items and even added my state!
LOVE these! I’ll have to grab some for my dad – he has a Harley, a Suzuki TLR, and a ‘Boosa, and rides *all* the time!
Some Harley Dealership sells them, make sure you check the Store Locator 🙂
