Benito’s Hot Sauce is based out of Montpelier, VT.
while working in a restaurant in NJ, Ben was sick of the lack of heat in the house sauce that was being put on the food, so he started experimenting. He had an organic garden and a large amount of Cayenne and Jalapeno Peppers. After a few trial runs he started putting it into bottles with a home made label. That one bottle of sauce has turned into a few new sauces, three Vermont maple BBQ rubs and two chili pepper infused Vermont maple syrups
The Chipotle Infused Maple Syrup is a 5 oz bottle of grade A dark amber pure maple syrup harvested in Jeffersonville, VT. It is then combined with organic chipotle peppers (smoked dried jalapenos) which are grown at Foote Brook Farm in Johnson, VT.
Review:
This maple syrup is WONDERFUL, It has a wonderful pure taste to it and the slight heat and smokiness to it is wonderful. I ate it on both chicken and pancakes. The Price is $8.25 and I think thats a wonderful price for pure maple syrup.
