Cookina Reusable Grilling Sheet Review and Giveaway

Cookina is a retailer of cooking, baking and grilling mats. They look like a sheet of plastic except that it is heat-resistant and it won’t burn. It retains the heat just like a BBQ plate. It’s non-stick quality allows you to cook your food to perfection without using oils or sprays to grease the surface. Once you have finished cooking you only need to wash it in warm soapy water. They are also reusable and don’t hold odors so you can cook fish on it once and not have to worry about it smelling or tasting like fish in the future. The mats are made of a composite Fluoro Polymer plastic combining two extremely high-grade compounds coated and encapsulated around a fabric structure, resulting in a tough, economical, flexible cooking sheet. The basic chemical component is PTFE. No need to worry about PTFE, Health authorities in the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and other countries have approved the use of PTFE on cookware. PTFE is actually an inert substance that does not react chemically on contact with food, water or detergents.

Cookina offers a BBQ Mat, Cooking Sheet,and  Gard which is perfect to line the bottom of your oven for easy clean up against messy spills. I was sent their BBQ Mat to review.

The Cookina Grill Mat is 100% non stick and is made from a TFE (PFOA free) coated non-stick fabric. The mat size is 15,75 IN X 19,68 IN (2.15 SQ.FT.) and should not be used on a surface that reaches over 500ºF (260ºC). It also should not cover the whole surface of the BBQ so make sure you cut it to fit.

CARE & USE

Wash with water before first use
Use plastic or wooden utensils (no sharp utensils)
After use, soak and wash in warm soapy water and use the scour pad included
Do not use scouring agents
Do not fold or crease
Store flat or rolled with the Cookina® Ring
Do not cover the entire surface of your barbecue
Can be used on both sides

I adore my Cookina Grill Mat! It makes for super easy clean up on the BBQ and no more food sticking to the grates! Its perfect for my marinated lamb I make! I love the alternative to aluminum foil because it gets expensive and is NOT reusable like the Cookina Grill Mat!
