Who doesn’t like chocolate seriously? Chocolate is amazing and so are truffles,
Do The Truffle was started by a father who wanted to give his children something different for dessert.
Here is a breakdown of all the phases the truffles go through.
Phase 1: Per order, each truffle begins from a new hand-selected mixture of ingredients to make the silkiest smooth ganache. Once the chocolate ganache has been tested and approved for the correct harmonious balance of chocolate, notes and flavor, it is allowed to cool to form the exact texture and luxurious smoothness expected in every truffle.
Phase 2: Once the chocolate ganache is to our standards, we either hand-roll or mold-form each truffle (certain truffles just deserve a more sophisticated and perfect roundness) to get the best looking roundness that a truffle is expected to have. Each truffle is inspected to ensure proper holding and size.
Phase 3: After the truffles are at the perfect firmness and the chocolate ganache is at the correct stage of its life, each truffle is either lightly coated with a soft coating of fresh ingredients or hand dipped into perfectly tempered chocolate to produce the perfect shine and snap of the hard-shelled coating. During the cooling period, the hard-shelled coatings are garnished with the correct fresh ingredients and to specifications pre-set to Do the Truffle’s standards that are required to finish each truffle.
Phase 4: Probably one of the most important phases of the process, shipping and packaging. Our customers expect to receive truffles that mimic the visual sites they see on our website, and we want to make sure that they receive exactly what they expect. We take great care in delicately handling each truffle into its packaging to ensure no marring or blemishes occur. To ensure that the quality and integrity of each truffle is met during shipping, we pack each shipment with a non-toxic, cool gel pack and moisture control pack to ensure that the truffles stay firm and beautiful from shop to doorstep. This ensures that the smiles and mouth-watering experience our customers get from looking through our site, they also will receive when opening their truffle box and then taking a perfect bite into their truffles.
