Emerson Creek Pottery was kind enough to send me a handmade, hand painted Iris Honey Pot.
I was very excited to review this item because I go through a huge bottle of honey a month and I hate how it looks just sitting on my counter, the jar gets all nasty and it always looks out of place among all my other canisters.
Emerson Creek Pottery is based in Bedford, Virginia and all their products are hand formed from clay, hand painted and fired in a gas kiln. No stencils or patterns are used, everything is free hand which makes each piece unique.
On their website they offer a wide variety of ceramic products such as dinnerware, kitchenware and even bathroom accessories.
The Honey pot is made from ceramic like all their items and features beautiful hand painted iris’s. It is 8 oz capacity and is microwavable, dishwasher safe, ovenproof and 100% lead free.
The lid fits securely around the honey dipper which makes it even more adorable!
This one i love it!!!!!!!! CHERYL CRAIN!!!!
Too cute! I’m a big fan of honey and use it all the time, so I am loving this!
SO, SO cute. My grandparents always used a honey pot and I’ve never owned one. I would LOVE to have one because we also go through a ton of honey around here. Having the honey jar out or even in the pantry really stinks because it gets all sticky and gross. I hate that. These are gorgeous!
I would also want the Iris honey pot. It was my late step dad’s favorite flower and I miss him lots.
I love pottery!! How pretty — I am not crazy about honey, but my kids like it on everything!! This would be a super fun way for them to get it themselves.
I have always wanted one of these! I see my favorite celebrity chefs using them all the time!
That honey pot is gorgeous! We go through lots of honey as well so this would be perfect for us.
That is so cute! I need a honey pot. I also don’t like the bottle getting all sticky and nasty. This would be perfect!
