Japanese candy and treats are some of my favorite so I was really excited to recently team up with Tokyo Treat.

Tokyo Treat is a monthly subscription box that focuses around providing you with the very best in Japanese snacks and candies, you will receive sweet, savory and sometimes even limited edition snacks to try. Since Tokyo Treat is based in Tokyo you are receiving only authentic items that are often only available in Japan. Their team works close with some of Japan’s biggest candy makers to hand select the items you will receive. My favorite thing about Tokyo Treats is you will ALWAYS receive full-size items and never sample sizes. Shipping is free regardless of the country you live in, in fact, they have already shipped to over 85 countries! Every month, a lucky subscriber will win Lucky Treat Box which is  valued at over $500! and usually contains giant Japanese candies, Tokyo-exclusive toys including figures and plushies, just-released gadgets, brand new game consoles, and games.

They have a few different subscriptions to choose from, the first is their small box which contains 5-7 Full-size Japanese candy and snacks for $14.99 a month, their regular box which contains 8-12 Full-size Japanese candy and snacks and 1 DIY kit for $24.99 a month and lastly their premium box which contains 13-17 Full-size Japanese candy and snacks, 1 DIY kit, 1 drink and 1 special item for $34.99 a month.

I received this months premium box.

The box I received contained

  • Strawberry Heart Pocky’s(Strawberry filled heart shaped icing dipped biscuits)
  • Kiki and Lala Strawberry Crunch( puffed rice bar)
  • Grain Gummy(Jellybeans)
  • Collis Strange Gum(lemon, strawberry and blueberry flavored gum that turns to grape flavored)
  • Mayo Flavored Nagewa Mentai(crispy potato rings)
  • Princesse’s Lost Treasure(cookie crisps)
  • Grape and Muscat flavored String Candy
  • Fujiya Peko Poco Chocolate
  • Lotte Koume Soft Candy
  • Dontaco’s Chili Tacos Flavored Chips
  • Traditional Bamboo Chopsticks with Fortune
  • Sweet Red Bean Soup
  • Kracie’s Mr. Fun Bakery
  • LOOKs Two Types of Strawberry
  • TokyoTreat Magazine

I was really impressed with how jammed packed this subscription box was, I love the fact that they only send full sized items and that the items they send are not your typical Japenese treats like Pocky’s even though I did receive Pocky’s it was a version I have never seen and was really excited to try. I thought the DIY kit was really cool and I have no complaints about the box I received.

I think this subscription box is great for anyone who likes Japanese treats or looking to be adventures and try different snacks.
