Esposito Sausage Review

Stephs Cheers and Jeers was provided the samples mentioned in this post in return for an unbiased review.

I absolutely love sausage, but ever since I was diagnosed with acid reflux finding a good quality sausage that doesn’t wreck havoc on my stomach is hard, but when Esposito Sausage and I came together for a review I finally found affordable sausage that I can eat without regretting it!

Esposito’s Finest Quality Sausage marked its 80th year in business in 2013! In 1933 Giovanni Esposito and Son’s was founded in the same Hell’s Kitchen New York City location as it is now as a fresh meat and poultry butcher shop. The demand for high quality products grew they split the business into two, a retail butcher shop and a wholesale shop, the wholesale shop became Esposito’s Finest Quality Sausage.

David of Esposito’s Sausage was nice enough to send me a HUGE cooler full of their wonderful sausage.

I was sent a sweet sausage, a hot sausage, italian sausage with  broccoli rabe and mozzarella, and a few other flavors.
I made an AMAZING stir fry of sausage, peppers, mushrooms and spinach with the italian sausage.
The sausage I received was high quality, one of my biggest pet peeves is when you bite into a sausage and you get a big nasty mouth full of fat and that didn’t happen at all with this sausage. The flavor was AMAZING and they froze well too, sometimes when you freeze meat it loses its flavor but this sausage did not.
The sausages are very traditional tasting use traditional spices such as anise, fennel and pepper.
They offer WONDERFUL bulk prices.
One of my favorite things that they offer is the Sausage of the Month Club.
For $49.99 a month you get 5lbs of sausage! You can get 3 months for $39.95 each.
