I LOVE Fried Rice so I decided to try for the first time to make it at home and I was very pleased!!
What you need
Wok or large stock pan
1 package of sliced mushrooms
1 package of frozen peas
3 cups of rice(I prefer to use the instant rice)
5 carrots- sliced
4 eggs- scrambled
5 tablespoons of Jack Daniels Honey Teriyaki Marinade(never reuse marinade! I took a few tablespoons out and set aside in a cup before I marinaded chicken) *you can also substitute soy sauce or another favorite sauce)
2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 tablespoon butter
2 beef bullion
1) Cook rice as directed on box/bag add beef bouillon to rice and water mixture. 5 minutes before rice is done, add mushrooms, rice vinegar, vegetable oil, marinade and carrots. Cook on medium heat
2) Add frozen peas. Cook until soft. Add butter and scrambled eggs to pan, stir often.
Enjoy! You can also add chicken, beef, shrimp or more!
