I’m not going to lie…I am HORRIBLE when it comes to growing plants…I am so surprised I was able to grow a pumpkin last year….But I have the want to be better at it and after some google searching I came across Bloomin’ Bin and I am so excited that we have teamed up!
Bloomin’ Bin is a monthly subscription box that inspires you to get inside with your inner gardener. They offer subscriptions for both container and backyard gardeners and each box contains things like seeds and everything you need to make those seeds grow! They use mostly compostable materials and even corn-based plastics that can be composted, and re-usable materials like pots, brushes, paint pens. One of the things that really stood out to me is that even though seeds usually have about a 70%+ chance of germinating if none of your seeds germinate you can email Bloomin’ Bin and they will give you tips to help and even replace the seeds!
My box arrived a few days ago and I was SO excited to dig in and get my hands dirty!
The box I received contained
- Earliglow Strawberry Plants
- Jiffy Pots
- MiracleGro Potting Soil
- Henry Fields Strawberry Foods
- White Egg Rocks
- Paint Pen
- Compostable Vegwear and BioBags
I LOVED this box! I was really happy that everything was included that I needed to plant the strawberry plants, the white egg rocks were an awesome little extra that I decided to use as plant markers. My favorite thing about Bloomin’ Bin though was the fact that they use compostable items in their box, I hate waste so that was something I really liked and have not seen in other subscription boxes before. Everything was easy to use and the info card was easy to follow and I actually felt like a gardener! The card said that the strawberries probably won’t fruit until the second year so I will update once I have fruit!
I think Bloomin’ Bin is a fantastic subscription box and if you have a green thumb(or want to!) I suggest subscribing!
