Kahiki Frozen Asian Entrees and Appetizers Review

I LOVE Asian food but we don’t really have any Asian restaurants in my area and the few times I’ve tried making home made Asian food at home it turned into a massive fail.

Kahiki has a huge range of frozen Asian entrees and appetizers that are easy to cook so you can enjoy real Asian food in your home with zero hassle.

They have some GREAT favorites available, their product line contains Steam and Serve Chicken Lo Mein and Chicken Fried Rice, Stir Fresh General Tso’s Chicken,  Sweet and Sour Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, Orange Chicken, Garlic Shrimp and Vegetables and Sesame Chicken. They also have multiply flavors of Tempura Chicken and a whole line of Multi-Serve Meals as well as Egg Rolls and Bowls and a Roll.

They recently sent me their Chicken Fried Rice, General Tso’s Chicken + Chicken Egg Roll, Garlic Shrimp and Vegetables and Sweet & Sour Tempura Chicken.

The Chicken Fried Rice comes in a steam and serve bag which means you microwave the rice directly in the bag which is super convenient! The Chicken Fried Rice is steamed white rice stir-fried with white meat chicken, edamame, carrots and scrambled eggs.

The General Tso’s Chicken + Chicken Egg Roll comes in a handy plastic bowl that you throw in the microwave and also comes with a Chicken Egg Roll. The bowl contains breaded white meat chicken with steamed white rice, broccoli and carrots in a zesty Asian-style sauce.

The Garlic Shrimp and Vegetables was my favorite! You can cook it on the stove or in the microwave and contains Tender whole shrimp with broccoli, carrots, sugar snap peas and red bell pepper with an Asian-style garlic sauce.

The Sweet & Sour Tempura Chicken can be cooked in the oven or deep fried, it is Tempura white meat chicken with a tangy sweet and sour sauce.

Review:

The Kahiki meals I received were full of flavor and very fresh tasting. My husband was actually shocked when I told him they were frozen meals. I went through a period of time in my life when I was working a lot that I ate many frozen meals and found many brands are bland and taste frozen but the Kahiki meals are very much the opposite, they are loaded with fresh tasting flavor. The shrimp was very fresh tasting and did not have a fishy flavor like I have experienced with other frozen seafood products. If you like Asian food I highly recommend Kahiki.
