I was really excited to receive the Kindle Fire HD 6, I have owned other kindles in the past and LOVED them! I have never had an issue with the Kindles so I was really excited to check out the newest one.
The Kindle Fire HD 6 is being called the most powerful tablet under $100. It features a 6″ HD display with over a million pixels (252 ppi / 1280 x 800), it has a fast quad-core processor with up to 1.5 GHz for quick app launches and fluid graphics,rear HD camera and a front-facing VGA camera. Amazon has also tested their Kindle 6 against the iPad mini 3 and it was deemed 2x more durable in drop and tumble tests. Fire HD tablets undergo more than 25 durability tests and are designed to withstand forces of 1,000 g’s. In addition to drop tests and tumble tests, their tablets endure a wide range of scrutiny to ensure quality, including impact, torsion, and backpack testing.

I am IN LOVE with the Kindle Fire 6, I chose it in magenta and the color is beautiful. I really love the front and rear facing camera because my other kindle does not have that feature and it comes in handy. I am highly impressed with this kindle for the price and I have had NO issues or complaints, it loads all my apps without issues and the camera takes decent pictures. I have always admired Kindle and their dedication to making all the Kindle’s family friend, I have young nieces and nephews who I can allow to use my kindle with the Amazon FreeTime feature.
I own two, one I’ve owned since February and the other since April and they are both working great!
