I have ALWAYS been a huge mike’s hard lemonade fan. I love the original flavor, its affordable, not high in alcohol content and easy to find most places. As many of my readers know Breast Cancer Awareness is SUPER close to my heart. My Grandmother died from Breast Cancer and I have a few friends who have been touched by it. I even have the pink ribbon tattooed on my shoulder. Last Year I even did a post highlighting Breast Cancer Awareness, With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month its a GREAT time for mike’s Hard Lemonade to debut their new mike’s hard pink Lemonade which is only available for a limited amount of time. Every year since 2009 mike’s hard lemonade has released the pink lemonade flavor during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. They have even contributed more then $1 million to Breast Cancer Research.
mike’s hard lemonade is currently celebrating their 15 year anniversary and here is something I bet you didn’t know! Did you know they use REAL lemons in their lemonade?
So I went on the hunt to try and find this near me and sadly none of the Circle K’s carried it, I went to three different locations and they were in the middle of their alcohol resets and were unsure if they were even going to be carrying it since its a limited time item. I couldnt seem to get a answers from anyone even managers I even called the 1800 number and no one was able to tell me yes or no,However I was able to find it at the Ascutney Market.
The package instantly caught my eye, it has pink all over it and is just ADORABLE!
I was actually super sad to not being able to find this variety near me, I love Circle K because they are right by my house and its always been super convenient to shop there for anything even alcohol, they always had such a variety and always carried the newest varieties. Being always on the go, sometimes at the end of a long hard day its nice to have a drink with dinner or to wind down and relax. Some of my friends up north are reporting be able to find it at their Circle K so maybe its just an issue with the local ones near me. The best part is when your drinking it your not only enjoying a treat for your self, your supporting those who are fighting against Breast Cancer.
