Did you know Make up has an expiration date? A quick google search lead me to Seventeen.com which lists make up expiration dates. In the USA per the FDA There are no regulations or requirements under current United States law that require cosmetic manufacturers to print expiration dates on the labels of cosmetic products, but in Europe, the European Cosmetics Association brings to the publics attention that its mandated that cosmetic manufacturers display the Period after Opening (PaO) symbol on product and packaging. Symbol is of an
open jar with the number of months (i.e. 12M = 12 months) indicating lifespan.
Airborne bacteria can cause certain cosmetic ingredients to oxidize and degrade, decreasing product life and effectiveness by allowing bacteria to grow and spread.
Cosmetics commonly at risk have been:
– improperly stored,
– exposed to high temperatures or sunlight
– opened and examined by consumers prior
to final sale
– shared with others
– opened and not dated

Review
I LOVE the idea of the Once Opened kits! I have so much make up and I don’t wear it often that I often forget when I bought it. They have everything you need to insure you can dispose of your makeup once it becomes expired. These make GREAT gifts for teenage girls as I remember holding onto make up FOR YEARS! Which is so unclean!
The kits sell for $7.50 on their website!

I don’t really have a favorite make up anymore..at my age I’ve pretty much given up on the makeup regimen. I wore makeup for years. and now just wear the basics, face powder and mascara..
I love all make up! LOL!
