I’ve been with my husband for six years and sometimes between his work, my blog and daily life we actually have to PLAN a date night, Date night for us is often a night to ourselves with Netflix and popcorn. I recently started looking into different date night ideas and most of them are super expensive! While I was searching I came across PitterPat Packages and fell in love with the idea.
PitterPat Packages is ALL about making date night easy and convenient! They started in 2014 with the idea of bringing couples closer together and by delivery date night packages straight to folks doorsteps they are making it easy for couples to spend quality time together.
I was recently sent a PitterPat Package for my husband and I to review!
The box arrived adorably packaged in a cute little basket and plastic wrapped to protect everything inside.
The box included 1 blanket, 1 pair of binoculars, 1 star chart, 2 mugs, 2 dessert teas, 3 conversation cards and 4 kiss cards. The card included with the box also included suggested date information. The suggested date is
Prepare a thermos(not included) of hot water, grab your PitterPat Packages and find a dark sky, It can be your driveway or a park. Have one partner prepare drinks while the other lays out the blanket. Unpack the binoculars, set the kiss cards and conversation cards in a stack at the top of the blanket and set the star chart within reach. Now, let the star gazing begin! Start with the moon, and look at its features through the binoculars. Then build outward, going from stars and patterns you know to new ones. Notice triangles, curves and straight lines of stars. Now try to find the constellations on the included star chart. Each time the binoculars are put down or passed to a partner, grab either a conversation card or a kiss card. Kiss cards are kisses to be preformed while conversation cards are to be discussed.
The included cards are
Conversation cards
“If life was possible on other planets, what planet would you visit first?”
“One of the Beatles’ most famous songs is “All You Need Is Love.” Do you think that’s true? What others necessities might you throw in there?”
“If we were to adopt a star, what would you name it?”
“When you were a child did you ever have to create a model of our solar system? If so what did you use for a model? If you were to create a model of our solar system today, what would you use to create it with?”
“Have you ever missed upon a star? If so did the wish ever come true?”
“if we were to take a trip to the moon, and you could only bring one thing, what would it be?”
The kiss cards included Shoulder Kiss, Hand Kiss, Make Them See Stars Kiss and Fish Kiss.
