I was SUPER Excited to try Sheer Cover as I have heard SO much about it! I have redness all over my face and I have been looking for something to cover it up! So here is my review of Sheer Cover!
Sheer Cover Sells mineral make up that is note tested on animals. The mineral foundation is non-comedogenic, paraben-free, fragrance-free and oil-free. It is also Allergy-tested, dermatologist-tested, sensitive-skin tested. I was sent a kit of their products to try!
The kit came with brushes, Perfect Shade® Mineral Foundation,Conceal & Brighten Trio,Sun-Kissed Bronzing Minerals,Lengthening Mascara,Lash Extending Fibers and a few other goodies.
My first impressed was I was super overwhelmed! So many steps it seemed like but a card sent with the kit broke it all down.
- CLEANSE and moisturize the face. Allow moisturizer to dry completely.
- CONCEAL flaws by applying the Concealer (part of the Conceal & Brighten Trio) with the Sheer Cover Studio Concealer Brush or a fingertip. Apply by dabbing and blending under the eye area for dark circles or over blemishes, scars, dark spots or any other areas needing coverage. Remember to blend the two shades as needed to help obtain a perfect shade match.
- BRIGHTEN your eyes instantly by applying the Brightener (part of the Conceal & Brighten Trio) under the brow bones and at the inner and outer corners of each eye, blending well. Use the Sheer Cover Studio Concealer Brush or a fingertip for application. You can use the Brightener both under and over your makeup.
- APPLY the Perfect Shade® Mineral Foundation for full coverage. Tap or shake a small amount into the lid of the jar. Place the Sheer Cover Studio Foundation Brush into the lid and tap off excess powder. In circular motions, from the outside of the face working inward, gradually blend over cheeks, nose, chin and forehead—or wherever you want to cover imperfections. Repeat this process as needed for increased, adjustable coverage. Keep in mind that a little bit goes a long way.
- ILLUMINATE your complexion with the Sun-Kissed Bronzing Minerals, which provide the perfect balance of shimmer and color to the face for a glowing complexion. Apply the pressed mineral powder by lightly dusting it on areas of the face that need highlighting, until you achieve your desired color. Sun-Kissed Bronzing Minerals can be reapplied throughout the day.
- LENGTHEN the look of your lashes. First, apply 1 to 2 coats of the Lengthening Mascara to your lashes to create a base for the Lash Extending Fibers. Next, apply a layer of the Lash Extending Fibers. Finish with another coat of Lengthening Mascara to ensure that the Fibers completely adhere to your lashes—so you can achieve the long, voluminous, sexy lashes you may have never thought possible.
I got to work and started applying the system.
I instantly noticed the concealer was greasy and didn’t blend well with my skin. I didn’t like the texture at all and it made my skin sensitive in the spots I used it. I also found the brighter to have a super greasy texture that felt heavy on my skin. The Mineral foundation looked AWESOME on my skin and the sun kissed bronzer made my skin look so bright. I loved the lash extending fibers! The extending fibers were my favorite!

In the end I loved the Mascara and the Lash Extending Fibers. The Mineral foundation was nice but the concealer and brighter was greasy and made my skin feel heavy. The bronzer gave my cheeks a wonderful sun glowed look.
