My husband loves hot sauce so he was super thrilled when I recently teamed up with Tabanero.
Tabanero started back in 2004 with the quest for all natural and fantastic tasting hot sauce. Tabasco, Mexico is where the creators of Tabanero found some of the finest ingredients that Mexico has to offer. However in 2007, there was an awful flood that affected over 1 million people and washing away the crops that were to be Tabanero. The company provided support to the region, helped folks rebuild and a few years later Tabanero finally made its debut. Even though the idea behind Tabanero was born in Mexico, their products are made in the United States.
Their hot sauces are 100% all natural, Gluten Free, NOT vinegar based and super flavorful. They contain a blend of carrots, onions, garlic, Key Lime juice, red habanero peppers and Agave nectar; which balances out the heat of the habaneros and adds a hint of sweetness. They currently sell three different varieties of hot sauce. Their varieties are extra hot, original and agave sweet & spicy, they also offer bloody mary mix.
I received a bottle of their original and their agave sweet and spicy.
Review:
The original has a heat level of medium to hot and is super tasty. It is full of flavor and is a great hot sauce! You can purchase it for $6.99 a bottle, it also comes in a 4 pack, 12 pack and a gallon.
The agave sweet and spicy was my favorite! Its a very well balanced flavor and as someone who does not really like hot sauce(my husband is the hot sauce user) I was pleasantly surprised. It also has a heat level of medium to hot but the agave is great at balancing the flavor. You can purchase it for $6.99 a bottle, it also comes in a 4 pack or 12 pack.
You can purchase bottles on their website.
I wonder how this would taste when used to make beef jerky? I think I might buy a bottle of the Agave Sweet and Spicy and try it out. Thanks!
I think it would be yummy!
