Toockies Review and Giveaway

Toockies all started to be  an alternative to disposable cleaning products, the Mother of the creator of the business Toockies used her skill with embroidery to bring in an income, the finished products were exported to Europe. Today they are making a difference for women and their families in Nababpur, India using a system very similar to the embroidery system her mother belonged to. The Toockie® project opens an unimaginable door of opportunity for our knitters. In Nababpur, 210 women desperate for a dignified way to earn a living, are mobilized and trained to knit Toockies®. A community center is setup for these women as a central location for them to come train, knit, pick-up yarn, and drop off finished toockies®. Most knitters work from home, allowing them to work flexible hours.

I was sent two of the SCRUB-Z – 2 HAND KNIT 100% CERTIFIED ORGANIC COTTON SCRUB PADS to review.

The scrub pads are the size of an average sponge and features a hanging loop.

Review:

I LOVE the pads I received, they clean wonderfully and I love the fact they are machine washable. I have had them over a year and they still clean wonderfully. I have mostly cast iron and stainless steel pans and they have the heavy duty scrubbing power but are gentle enough not to scratch my pans.
