Vermont Serendipity Review

Vermont Serendipity is a subscription box that celebrates all things Vermont and is a collaboration between a farmer and a cook and is based in Cabot, Vermont. I received one of their boxes in March to review.

The book I received was titled The Sugarmaker’s Widow.

The box contained

a pint of Maple Syrup from Under Orion Farm in Cabot, Vermont. Under Orion Farm used traditional methods and extracts only what the tree is willing to give and then the sap is boiled on their farm. The pint of maple syrup is valued at $10

Flying Farmer Buttermilk Pancake Mix from DownStreet Eats in Cabot, Vermont. You just have to add eggs, water and butter to enjoy approximately a dozen 4 inch pancakes. The pancake mix is valued at $5.50.

Mexican Drinking Chocolate and Grammy’s Hot Cocoa Mix from DownStreet Eats in Cabot, Vermont. The Mexican Drinking Chocolate contains a enough for approximately 3, 6oz servings and the Grammy’s Hot Cocoa Mix contains enough for approximately 2, 80z servings. Valued at $4.50 each.

Natural Soy Candle from Belle Savon in Danville, Vermont. The candle is a hand poured soy wax candle with a maple butter scent. The candle is valued at $3.75.

Wool Felted Bounce Balls from Agape Hill Farm in Hardwick, Vermont. These are crafted by Nancy Kish and her family on their fiber shop on their family farm. They are valued at $5.

I also received a maple sap spigot.

Review:

 As a Vemonter my self I was very impressed with the box I received. It was loaded with great items that Vermont is famous for and I feel they put together a GREAT box.
