Wenzel’s Farm Beef Jerky Is The Perfect Snack

Stephs Cheers and Jeers was provided the samples mentioned in this post in return for an unbiased review.

Wenzel Farms was founded in 1949 in Marshfield, WI. After bringing the craft of sausage making from Germany to the US. They are still operating out of the original barn and is a provider of high-quality small-batch meat snacks and products. Their product line features snack sticks, sausage, brats, and beef jerky.

Wenzel's Farm Beef Jerky

Their line of beef jerky features three flavors: Original, Teriyaki, and Peppered. Their beef jerky contains no artificial colors, MSG and is gluten-free.  It also contains no nitrites or nitrates. One of my favorite things about their beef jerky is the fact that it contains 1o grams of protein per serving and only 90 calories.

Thoughts:

I was very impressed with their jerky. My favorite was the Teriyaki but I also liked the peppered. Unlike some brands, the peppered was flavorful but not overpowering. As for the texture, I found this brand to be tender but also kept the texture of jerky. One of my biggest pet peeves is overly tough jerky. This brand was not like that and I was overall very impressed.

You can order their beef jerky off their online store for $6.49 for a 3oz bag and $16.99 for a 10 oz bag.
