Whale Tails Chips Review and Giveaway

Whale Tails Tortilla Chips are on a mission! To produce a high quality and innovative chip. They are determined to maintain a commitment to utilize wholesome ingredients as well as being a socially and environmentally responsible business. Their chips are organic and non GMO. Whale Tails also support a range of Whale and Beach related organizations.  They donate 10% of all sales to the Wyland Foundation. 

I was sent a sample pack to review. 

There are three flavors to choose from:

Original Flavor Yellow Organic Corn with “Alaea”
Red Gourmet Hawaiian Sea Salt. Alaea is unique to the Hawaiian Islands and legendary for being low in sodium content , 3% to be exact , and high in
essential trace minerals that our bodies require.Alaea is sun dried, never processed, and imparts the rich earthy taste of corn that has been roasted
“Island Style” over an open flame. This original flavor with guacamole is absolutely amazing!!

  Ingredients: Stone Ground Organic Yellow Corn ( masa ) Expeller Pressed safflower and/or Sunflower Oil, Hawaiian ( Alaea ) Sea Salt and a Trace of Lime

Blue Corn w/ Chia Seeds
Organic Blue Corn infused with Chia. By adding a Blue“Torchia” chip to the flavor lineup, Whale Tails TortillaChips takes healthy snacking to a whole new level. Infusing organic blue corn with the rediscovered ancient Mayan super seed Chia, adds a healthy punch and a wonderful nut like flavor to a delicious deep-blue organic corn chip. Chia contains higher amounts of omega-3than any other vegetarian source, all essential amino acids, and five times more calcium than milk.

Ingedients: Organic Blue Corn, Expeller Pressed Hi-Oleic Safflower and/or Sunflower Oil, Organic Chia Seeds, Sea Salt and a Trace of Lime

Hawaiian Barbeque

Ingredients: Stone Ground Organic Yellow Corn ( masa ) Expeller Pressed safflower and/or Sunflower Oil Golden Granulated Cane Sugar,Sea Salt, Molasses Powder (Refinery Syrup and Molasses),Autolyzed Yeast Extract, Onion, Tomato Powder,Spices,Garlic, Natural Smoke Flavor, Mango
Powder,Citric Acid, Paprika Extractive and less than 2% Silicon Dioxide added to prevent caking

Review:

Trying these were a new experience for my family, I personally loved the Hawaiian Barbeque and the rest of my family loved the original. The chips were crunchy and had a really good flavor to them. They are great by them selves or with a dip. My favorite part is how 10% of their sales are donated. I feel comfortable serving them to my family knowing they are organic and non GMO.
