I feel like when it comes to makeup brushes I can NEVER have enough, so I was really excited to check out the BABI BEAR 15 PCs Makeup Brushes Set mainly because of the price point.
The brushes included in the set are:

This set also includes a makeup sponge, brush cleaner and waterproof bag.
Now before I continue I want to say that I own 4 different makeup brush sets from 4 different brands so I have some experience with makeup brushes and I know how to properly care for them.
The first thing I noticed with the BABI BEAR set was the smell. The brushes and the makeup bag have a REALLY strong smell. I posted about it in a makeup group I am in a some of the girls said that happens and to just wash them. I washed them the way I wash ALL my brushes with actual brush wash from Sephora and used the provided brush cleaner and while the smell did go away I had a REALLY hard time getting the brushes to dry even though I fully rung them out, tapped them on the sink to get excess water out and dried them flat.
Once they did dry(which took about 3 days) they had a REALLY strong damp smell. A bunch of girls in the makeup group suggested rewashing them but I had the same issue happen. I’m not sure if its because they are super dense brushes or what but I have NEVER had this happen before.
Final Thoughts:
I was really excited when I saw the price was only $14.99 but was left disappointed with the fact that the brushes arrived smelling strongly of chemicals(I was unable to get the smell out of the makeup bag) and then the fact that I had issues with washing and drying left me highly disappointed.
